Egypt: Child of Atlantis: A Radical Interpretation of the Origins of Civilization by John Gordon Building on evidence of the prehistoric existence of an ancient worldwide religious culture that extended from ancient Egypt to Tibet and China, Gordon traces the origins of Egyptian culture to the legendary lost continent of Atlantis. He contends that Egypt was originally not a society obsessed with death, but one that saw in life and death an initiatory transition. Illustrations, diagrams, photos, appendices, index, 294 pp.

The Temple of Edfu: A Guide by an Ancient Egyptian Priest translated by Dieter Kurth This is the oldest and most authentic guide to an ancient Egyptian temple ever written, as it originates with an Egyptian Priest who lived in the first century B.C.E., under the last kings of the Ptolemaic dynasty, when the construction and decoration of the huge temple was finally completed. These walls tell about the Seven Sages who came from the island "Homeland of the Primeval Ones" which sank during a catastrophic flood. The parallel with what is written in the First Series is exact. Dieter Kurth is a professor of Egyptology at the University of Hamburg. Photographs and drawings, 96 pp.

The Temples of Karnak by R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz De Lubicz (1897-1961) was one of the most important esoteric philosophers and Egyptologists of the century. Although Gurdjieff and he never met, a great many of his ideas and insights are in agreement with Gurdjieff's. Living for 15 years in Thebes (modern-day Luxor), where some 85% of the monuments of ancient Egypt are located, de Lubicz resolutely studied the temple complex at Karnak and this book is the result. Because of vandalism over the years, this volume is the only complete photographic record of the Karnak site. Hardcover slipcased volume, 9 x 12, 596 photographs, 120 line illustrations, 640 pp.

In his eminently readable style, Wilson combines all the latest evidence and discoveries augmented by his own intuitive strikes to give a picture of Atlantis and the ancient world never before offered.
